Baturraden

Pictures taken from Baturraden
Starting from a location not far from my place. Baturraden is a tourist destination in Banyumas, Central Java, Indonesia. Baturraden located in the northern town of Purwokerto on the slope just south of Mount Slamet. Baturraden because it is situated on the slopes make the area has a cool air and tend to be very cold especially at night. Baturraden is also a tourist area visited by local tourists, especially on Sundays and national holidays. The condition causes a lot of hotels and villas built here.

Baturraden can be reached by private or public. Distance of Purwokerto town about 15 km and can be reached in 15 minutes with the traffic that is not too dense. If you want to use public transport tourists can ride the public transportation from the terminal on and off at the terminal Purwokerto Baturraden tourist sites. If tourists want to be more practical to use a taxi. If you decide to use a private vehicle, you should be careful because the road is uphill with a slope of about 30 degrees.
Baturraden is the beauty that emanates from the slopes of Mount Slamet. Tourist sites is only about 15 km from the town of Purwokerto, Central Java, not only to save the beautiful scenery, but also folklore about Raden Kamandaka, or lutung Kasarung quite familiar in Indonesian society.
In addition to easy access, area tourism and the hotel also offers a variety of adequate accommodation. In addition, for lovers of outdoor camping ground provided a comfortable and safe. And without worrying about the difficulty of obtaining food, since the area is quite a lot of merchants who sell rabbit satay.
Slamet mountain with its slopes are gentle, offering beautiful natural scenery.

Yogyakarta monument is an obelisk or tower that is often used as a symbol / emblem of the city of Yogyakarta. This monument was built by Hamengkubuwana I, founder of the Yogyakarta palace. The monument is located at the intersection of Jl Sudirman and Jl. This Mangkubumi Prince, has a symbolic value and is a magical line that connects the southern sea, and Mount Merapi Yogyakarta palace. At the time of meditation, it is said the Sultan of Yogyakarta at the time to use this as a benchmark monument overlooking the peak of Mount Merapi.
This monument is now one of Yogyakarta tourism objects, and often referred to as "the pillar of white pal '(pal also means that the monument), because the color of paint used since the first is white. Pal monument is elliptical with a small ball and the pointed tip at the top. Of the Yogyakarta palace if we look to the north, then we will find that Malioboro, Jl Mangkubumi, this monument, and Monument Way Back Yogya will form a straight line exactly with the direction to the summit of Mount Merapi.
